Why should you volunteer?
If you’re 11 to 16 (inclusive) and want to support your peers then Safe Havens may be able to help you and you may be able to help Safe Havens! Volunteering is one of the most rewarding life experiences that can be undertaken.
How do you volunteer?
Every academic year we recruit young volunteers to join our teams within the participating schools following an application process. To find out if you’re school is already involved or to take on the role of establishing Safe Havens in your school then please feel free to contact us.
What do volunteers do?
Young people can volunteer to help:
Anything in fact!
Do volunteers receive training?
Successful volunteer applicants subsequently attend a residential training programme and further training sessions. This training is delivered by previously involved young people, youth workers and possibly other organisations.
Volunteers will receive training on a wide range of things, which could include:
Don’t worry...there’s plenty of fun stuff too!
Why not join the battle to beat the bullies and help to empower us to extend our work to as many young people as possible – no young person deserves to suffer in silence!
How can you or your company help Safe Havens?
Why should you invest in Safe Havens?
Safe Havens has an exceptional track record of complex project delivery, combined with our strong visionary, enterprising and innovative ways of working, in addition to our belief of a mutually advantageous agreement and the fact that we are all young people with a diverse range of skills and expertise. We are committed to making a partnership work.
If you would like to discuss opportunities on how to support our work, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be delighted to hear from you!
